Inspiring future CEOs at PHINMA with Design Thinking

 

In July 2017, we were engaged by the HR team at PHINMA Corporation to be the link between the first and second year of their future leaders development program.

 

We ran a 2 day workshop designed to teach them how to create products with empathy, how to perform research, how to synthesize insights, how to ideate solutions and how to create low fidelity prototypes to validate their ideas.

 

Four teams battled it out over two days exploring real solutions to real business challenges and opportunities for PHINMA. The second day ended with teams pitching their idea to the judges and ultimately going face to face with PHINMA’s Senior Vice President and Treasurer, Pythagoras L. Brion Jr.

 

Each of the teams explored real solutions to business challenges and opportunities for PHINMA and after judging, the ideas were also discussed directly with PHINMA’s Senior Vice President & Treasurer who used his 25 years of industry experience to give specific next steps the teams could take to develop their ideas further.
