Teams see the whole loop close in one sitting, using their own problem and their own people, and leave with the software.
Most organisations have never seen an idea go all the way round. Someone raises a problem in January, it gets scoped in March, designed in May, built by August, and by the time anyone finds out whether it helped, the person who had the idea has moved teams. The loop is real but invisible, and because it is invisible, people stop believing their ideas go anywhere.
One Loop makes the loop visible. On-Off Group takes a real problem from the client's organisation and, in front of the team, builds working software with AI in under an hour. The people who would actually use it then use it, and what they say goes straight back into the build. They keep using it, On-Off keeps changing it, and the session ends with the client owning something their own people have shaped.
The problem can be anything the organisation genuinely needs. A tool for a team drowning in spreadsheets, a system a learning and development group has been waiting two budget cycles for, an internal process nobody has ever had time to fix, or a customer-facing idea that has been sitting in a slide deck. The loop is the same either way.
"Every leader I speak to has been told that AI collapses the build time, and it does," said Phil Smithson, Founder of On-Off Group. "What nobody shows them is the other half. You can now build the wrong thing faster than ever. One Loop puts the user back inside the loop and does it fast enough that a room of people can watch it happen."
Sessions run half a day with 15 to 25 participants and are anchored on a problem the client nominates in advance. On-Off supplies the build, the facilitation, and the structure for capturing what users say as they use it. The client supplies the problem and the people who live with it. No prior technical experience is required from anyone in the room.
One Loop is available from 17 August 2026. Sessions are booked as the opening engagement of an On-Off Operating Model Diagnostic. To enquire, contact owie@onoffgroup.com.
