Private beta Second Opinion: know what your boss will say before your boss says it

What will your boss say when they read this?*

Second Opinion is a button that sits on your screen. Click it, drag a box around your email, proposal or slides, and pick who you want a 2nd opinion from. In seconds you see what they’d push back on, how to fix it, and a ready-to-send version.

Brand new

Others check your writing. Second Opinion checks how it lands.

A small orange button sits on your screen, in any app. Drag a box around your work, pick who’s reading it, and get their likely pushback, in their voice, before they see it. Then one concrete fix for each point, and a version you can copy and send.

For companies

The same standard on everything your people send

Your admin sets up the reviewers that matter in your company: Our CEO, Our CFO, A key client, Brand voice, Legal & compliance. Each one knows who they are, what they look for, and your house rules. Staff see them at the top of their list, and a change on the admin page reaches everyone at once. No senior person checking every email, and admins see counts only, never anyone’s work.

FAQs

Do I have to copy and paste my work?

No. Drag a box around it on screen, or drop in a PDF. Up to 5 screenshots at once, or a PDF of up to 20 pages.

Does it read my screen all the time?

No. It only sees the box you draw, and only when you click the button.

Is my work stored anywhere?

Not on our servers. The box you draw goes to our server and straight on to Claude, Anthropic’s AI, to write the review. We don’t save what you send, the review or your settings, and none of it is used to train AI. Anthropic keeps requests for up to 30 days to check for misuse, then deletes them. Past feedback stays on your own computer, text only, for 30 days.

How is it different from ChatGPT or Grammarly?

Grammarly checks your grammar, tone and clarity in text boxes. ChatGPT answers whatever you ask, in a separate window, once you have pasted your work and explained the context. Second Opinion sits on top of any app, works on slides, PDFs and designs as well as text, and judges one thing: how a specific reader will react. For companies, your own reviewers and standards are built in.

What languages does it work in?

It replies in the language your work is written in, including the ready-to-send version.

Can it change my file?

No. It gives you fixes and, for emails and messages, a full rewrite you can copy. You decide what to use.

Is it always right?

No. It predicts how someone will react; it doesn’t approve your work. It can miss things or misread a screenshot, so read the feedback the way you would a colleague’s, and make the call yourself.

Which computers does it run on?

Mac, signed and approved by Apple: drag it into Applications and you’re done. Windows works and is in testing. The first time you open it, Windows shows a “Windows protected your PC” message until our code signing is set up: click More info, then Run anyway. A Chrome extension for Chromebooks and company rollouts is coming later.

What does it cost?

Nothing while we test it. The private beta is invite only and free. Paid plans come later, and beta users hear about them first.

How do companies set it up?

We create your team. Your admin adds the reviewers that matter on a simple web page, such as Our CEO, Our CFO, A key client, Brand voice or Legal & compliance, each with who they are, what they look for and any standards to check against. Staff join with a team code and see those reviewers at the top of their list. Admins see counts only, never anyone’s work.
